My Favorite E9 rides

Doug Jernigan with Don Adams "Big Town Baby" seems to have it all.

John Hughey(?) with Conway Twitty "Yours to hurt tomorrow"

Well, I can't believe I'm the first to list this one! I am a Guitar player who just happens to LOVE Steel Guitar.
I don't know if I qualify to print which E-9th ride is my favorite, and I am so surprised to NOT see it posted here.

Tom Brumley sunk his heart and soul into the signature ride, and those great fills when Buck Owens cut "TOGETHER AGAIN", In fact I have NEVER heard any Steel player worth his salt try to play it any other way!
Did you guys forget? Although running a close second would be Weldon Myrick on the ORIGIONAL "WHISKEY RIVER" I don't think I saw a post on that one either.

There are too many "rides" out there to pick a favorite (they are all my heros)...but there is one Franklin solo on an obscure song on Lee Ann Womack's "Some Things I Know" album that definitely needs mentioning. The song is "Don't Tell Me".

Paul, in a word "awesome".
