Talking about "lap top " guitars, I understand now, a high school kid just left the store here today, saying that he was gonna' buy one of them "table top" guitars. I remember the "bisket board guitar". Electric slide- High-y-ann slippery boards.
What are we going to be called next!

That all depends on Bobbe, He made me an offer to trade the Emmons and wait on it, for the Zum, at least the wait would be over ,and still end up with an excellent steel.. Only Bobbe would help a friend out like that, Thanks Sir Robert..

Billy, I'd jump on that with all four feet. Like you said, THE WEIGHT WOULD BE OVER. And you wouldn't have to wait for a nice steel any longer either.

Steve - I'm still not sure if there is a Put or a Call feature on this deal. I guess it depends on whose "investment" it is - Billy's or Bobbe's.

When Bobbe and I talked Monday, he said he would have to check it out, and if possible he would work out something and call me back, So I'm guessing he couldnt work it out,he didnt call me back, Yes it was the purple Zum on his sight, But then again Rebecca is supposed to call me NO LATER then FRIDAY [01/25/02] TO LET ME KNOW MY STEEL WAS SHIPPED, So either way, with Bobbe or Emmons I'm supposed to have my steel or a steel next week sitting in my music room..
at this point I'll settle for just about anything with strings on it even a washboard if you can pick it..
I'll let you know the out come on the phone call from Emmons in Two days..

My theory is that Billy will get the phone call at 4:59. As he is typing a post of the latest developements in this case, the forum will go down. Then, it will be Tuesday before we know. Sales of Prozac will triple in the meantime. Billy, see if Jerry Roller can give you all of our email addresses and let us know the scoop.
I'm just kidding! Lighten up! I love you both, and trust that Billy gets good news and that my computer doesn't crash like Jerry's.

It's now after 6PM EST on the 25th.

I've got my fingers crossed for you Billy.
It's been a long time since you gave them your $3K.

Gilda used to say, "Never Mind..."
Who was it that said, "Sue the Bas@u#ds!"?

Well folks, No steel.....
I was told this past thursday, while working on my steel, Ron somehow cracked the body while working on it..
And the fellow that builds the bodys was to make me another one and bring it up to the Emmons shop.. Today [ Friday, 01/25/02 ] Rebecca told me that the body was there and they were gonna let the glue set thru the weekend and then ship the steel Monday, Jan.28th 02.. she would call me first thing Monday and give me the UPS TRACKING NUMBER,
So, another weekend before it's shipped..
thats all I know as of right now,
I'll let you all know next Monday the 28th what happeneds.
Thanks
Billy......

Make a new body in one day or so....
Body cracks while working on it....
Letting the glue dry in the weekend....

Well maybe it's the first guitar they're making...

Bull*%#@........I KNOW JUST HOW LONG, AND WHAT THE PROCEDURE IS FROM STEP 1 TO STEP 10 TO BUILD THE BODIES. I AM SOOOO SUPRISED, I REALLY CANNOT BELIVE IT. SOMETHING TELLS ME ANOTHER STORY. IT TAKES MORE THAN 1 OR 2 DAYS TO BUILD A BODY. LETS SEE WHATS NEXT. Image
