Not long ago I was really loving the hi speed road cars such as my Z06 Vette, BUT, being older and much slower these days,I am loving the low speed off road experience !

Its been almost a year since this thread was up, but I thought I would add another "toy" to the list. Picked this one up last December in Texas. Its a '36 Ford 4-dr sedan deluxe; pretty much all original with a few things added like seat belts, turn signals, 12 volt, etc. Her name is "Eleanor".

Old-School Deco-Cool!

Post by Clete Ritta »

Not mine and he had to sell it a few years ago unfortunately, but…me and my stepdad with a '46 Lincoln. This was a gift from my mom on his 70th birthday. He had a number of classic cars (mostly Cadillacs), and he was unknowingly bidding against her on this one in silent auction (she won). He was upset he lost the auction, but even more surprised later!

A friend of the family drove it to the party with me, but he had to remember how to use the column shift. I had no clue as to how it operated (just a few decades before my time).
