As the Texas Trooper said several years ago - "Willie is Willie ........ nuff said" This was a press conferance called after a traffic stop north of Austin - the local TV station made a big deal of this and the TX trooper was one of those BIG tall troopers - hat and all -- the above was the entire conference - he just walked off - there was a room full of reporters that were left setting there.

I just happened to be watching that evening

I hear that, when they stopped him for that traffic infraction, the trooper asked him: "Got any ID?" and Willie replied "About what?"

and he did say one time when they ask "do you have anything in your car we need to know about?" Willie said, "the only pot I have in in a baggie on the seat so don't bother to mess up my car"
