I've been fighting a flue bugg since before the weekend. Sally had it 24 hours before I caught it. Naggin' cough, sore and stiff neck, head-aches that come and go, sore throat, runny nose combine with congested head........
Have fun. ENJOY!

Glad you could make it Ray, your touch on the old six-sring steel was a sweet thing to hear. Gene and Dale both put on virtual clinics on the panhandle six-string and the Carter D12 respectfully
and with all the other players who showed up I enjoyed hearing from the older fellows some more.
I also had the great honor of walking in the door to sit behind "Eric's old guitar" newly rebuilt, sans knife-handle, in stellar fasion by Bob Muller, Bob Littleton and David Kellogg . It's only a few tweaks away from being a total love machine (I want it!)
I got to follow that experience up with several songs each on a ZB D10, a Jackson SD10 and three other ShoBuds - and older S10, a late '70's D10 and Bob's own personal honey, a D10 fingertip - before the night was through. Big fun all around!
Thanks once again to Bob for a fine evening of music and camaraderie, I look forward to the next one, April 17th I believe?.

Just a reminder April 17 will be our next PSG get together at 7 PM. This meeting should be a good one, and we will have Larry Behm with us to talk about "Band in the box" and the big upcoming Portland steel jam. We will be going over the set list for the steel jam, and how to use band in a box practice tool for this event. If you have band in a box installed on your laptop bring it with you, we will cover any questions you may have. Hope to see everyone on Tuesday.
Great turn-0ut!

Had a great turn-out at Bob's place on Tuesday night.
Had some early day players including Dale Grandstrom and Larry Behm, a mix of newer players and a new visitor Gordon Gleason.
Too bad some of the rest of you couldn't have made it too. We missed you all!

Just what is an early days player?
You are 15 years older than me and have played 15 years longer.

Last week's gathering was again a great success. Thanks to all those that attended and supported the group, I believe we had about 10 players again which is a great size group. We started off with a discussion about Band in a Box a lot of good ideas were exchanged. Then we went on to practice some of the songs for the upcoming Portland jam. Next week we will be focusing on the songs for the jam again, and any other ideas that may come up. Next meeting will be May 1 at 7 PM, hope everyone can attend again, look forward to seeing everyone then.

Hi Bob, I'd like to come to the next gathering (I'll bring a non pedal guitar). Could you send me directions? Also, do I need to bring a small amp?
Thanks. Jeff Repp

Our last gathering was another great success, we have a good showing of local players practicing for the upcoming Portland jam. The next meeting will be on May 15 this will be your last chance to practice for the big jam on the 20th, everyone should try to make this one to sharpen your skills one last time before the 20th. Dave made it through the night playing on Eric's guitar, so hopefully it's ready to take on the steel jam. Again hope to see everyone next time.

Hey there BOB MULLER!
Surely you're going to be attending the ELKS CLUB
shin-dig on Sunday that's hosted by everybody's friend LARRY BEHM?
Say YES! LET's hear it!
A great opportunity to display your handiwork on ERIC WEST's beat-up old Sho-Bud, eh?

Hi Ray:
Yes I plan to be there with Eric's newly restored guitar, but the biggest reason that were all going is to hear you play this time. Larry has assured me that you will be there with your guitar ready and anxious to play this time. We are all looking forward to this, see you at the jam!!

Sorry I couldn't make it.... the wife just a week out of surgery had a little problem I felt needed my attention.
Was Jeff there with his new Clinesmith? Would loved to have seen it up close.
How about some of those great photo's that you're so apt at including each week? We all depend on you BOB.

Thanx Bob........
As always, geat photo's for those of us that weren't able to attend......... It gives us a warm fuzzy feeling, almost like we were actually there with the rest of you guys/gals.
I wish more of you Northwest players would make it a point to drop in to Bob's "Man's Cave"........ It's a great place to visit, no cover charge, no obligation to play but you're always welcome to if the mood so strikes you. It's neat and clean, casual attire is the norm...... No dues to pay, no pressure to joing ANYTHING.
Come on now, and join in on the informality of it all.

Well with the big Portland steel jam behind us, it will soon be time to get together again and start learning some new hot licks for the next one. We will be meeting again on May 29 at 7 PM. Hope to see everyone there, be sure and bring some new ideas to practice for the next jam.
