Since I am fairly new to the Steel Guitar Community and this GREAT Forum, I am glad to see that so many of you forumites will be attending the Texas Steel Guitar Jamboree in Dallas in a few weeks. I am the newly elected Sergeant-at-Arms for the Texas Steel Guitar Association of which I consider it a great and humble Honor since I am still a green horn to the Steel Guitar Community (since March 2004). I will be working Security at door to the main hall. I will be working every 2 Hrs. or so through out the event so please stop by and let me know that you are on this Forum as I would like to meet you in person. I am on the BIG side and have a dark brown beard so I won't be hard to miss. See you all there. Image

It’s going to be a great show and I’m honored and thrilled to be a part of it again this year. This is one of the best shows that are put together and a great bunch of pickers in the line up. Be sure to stop by and see Maurice Anderson, Johnny & Joan Cox, Jr Knight, little Jonathan Candler (on occasion), and of course myself at the MSA booth where the new Millennium will be on display. It’s a real beauty! We will also have some new and exciting products that we are premiering especially for the Dallas show. I guarantee you won’t want to miss out! A big thank you in advance to all of those who have helped in organizing the show and for all the players and fans that will be there! See you in a couple weeks!

I wish I could go, and see Reece, Jr,Johnny and all my old friends on the Forum. But I have to stick pretty close to home and take care of my wife ,who is 90% blind with Macular Degeneration.

I will miss what is going to be a really big show, and miss seeing all the guys again.....al Image Image
