Ok, now I'm really confused, here lately I've used 3in1 Oil, Rem-Oil w/Teflon, Tri-Flow, and Singer Sewing Machine Oil. Occasionally, I wipe down what I can reach of the changer with a piece of cloth on the end of a small screw driver soaked in Denatured Alcohol. It does get the dust, lent, and grease build up off of exterior of the changer. However, I do have a very small amount of black liquid coming out between the spacers and changer fingers. Obviously it's the oil and it wipes off easily with Q-Tips, but I guess what I'm asking is, am I over-oiling my LeGrande II? And am I messing this thing up by mixing these oils together from one string change to another, which is usually 2-3 mons. or 12to20 gigs?

Bruce recommended lightly oiling once a year.

Reilly's the man! You just dont want to put 27 gallons of that s/// on your steel. Lube lightly.

Straight from the big man's mouth though that was over a decade ago. Really.

I use Rem Oil, and I've used horn valve oil, with good results. I've heard of this lubricant called Motor Kote. Has anyone used it? If so what were the results?

I think the key point here is to lube regularly, but no more than once every year or two. As long as you don't mix products, whatever you decide to use will probably suffice.
