Dear Buddy,
I know in my heart that God is a loving and trusting God and he don't like ugly. Roxanne and I pray that God sends out his angels and bind and rebuke the cancer in the name of Jesus. Just put your faith in Him. I do not know you personally but I feel like I do . When I was a boy in Eastern Kentucky I would watch the Ernest Tubb Tv Show, and you were playing steel guitar at the time.I thought it was a cool instrument as I watched you play. I was in awe in how you made that steel sing.
Take Care and God Bless

Buddy,
You are in my prayers and I wish you well.
I just had a conversation yesterday with a great friend and player, Dan Galysh, about the first professional steel player I ever met and one of my inspirations to learn how to play, besides my dad was Buddy Charleton.
I was 15 yrs old and got a picture with you standing behind your Emmons guitar. This was from 1973 at the Kish Hotel in Stoneboro Pa. with Ernest Tubb.
Your name was the first thing I noticed this morning when I opened the steel guitar forum, just like it was supposted to happen to tell this story.
I will keep you in my prayers and god bless you.

Hi Buddy,
You've always played the perfect beautiful part for every tune I've heard you on. Congrats also on the new Bear Family CD "Almost to Tulsa."
You were very kind and encouraging to me a little while back and it was/is most appreciated. I wish you a quick and complete recovery.
With love,
Joe

Buddy,
A trip in the Bass Boat is just not the same without
you,...we need to wet a line together again.
You are in our hearts now & always. We love you!
