I personally think the current thing is fine,
I played southern rock too,
BUT
they should reopen Ryman for regular CLASSIC country shows.
Dale Daryl, Jake, Justin, Amber, Bobby, et al,
and Ray Price from time to time too.
Just the right size and ambience for
the amount of audience expected.

From one point of view the current Opry is a big success,
from another it' ain't what it used to be.

But time moves on and time waits for no one.
The only thing that never changes is CHANGE.

I seem to recall that people were complaining when they saw Elvis on there TV screen as well. Many were chanting , "We want Perry" :whoa:
