I've got a Robert Keeley box here that's pretty cool. He made it for my buddy Neil Zaza, so it might be one of a kind. Don't know. Little white box with an ambery Gibson barrel knob on the side. It's a clean boost, up to a point, then gets pretty, delightfully, gnarly!

It appears to be the prototype or pre-production modelof the Katana. It doesn't have any graphics. The knob can be pulled out for "gnarl."

I had someone refer me to Keeley for his modified Boss BD2. I was looking for a pedal that would run from slight grit to full-on fuzz, but ended up with a Pigtronix Polysaturator ( www.pigtronix.com ) from www.pedalgeek.com . It only runs off an AC cord (no batteries), but I like how it does what the guy at pedalgeek told me very few pedals do: it runs a wide gamut.
