Updating the State College, PA list:

A roughly 40 mile radius around State College includes places like Altoona, Huntingdon, Mount Union, Lewistown, Lock Haven, Jersey Shore, and Clearfield. With some thought, I can put together (now 13), plus a couple of younger guys in town here who are just starting up, for a total of 15.

Close to State College:
Gene Fye (played with Hank Williams in the late 40s)
Carl Houtz
Dan Yeaney
Janice Brooks
Joe Eisenhart
Noah Figlin
Jason McIntyre
Dave Sarge
and myself

Altoona:
Kim Metzger
Art Payne

Huntingdon:
Jim Wilson

Houtzdale:
John Bumbarger

Lewistown:
Donald Walters

Clearfield:
Sam Confer

The add is Sam Confer, who I had the great pleasure to meet a little over a week ago. And man, you should play the lacquer-body/wood-necked Emmons push-pull he had with him. Wow.

Hey you South Texas guys,ya'll are leaving out my main man Dicky Overbey !!

If Dicky only lived 40 miles from my house,he would be sick of seeing my ugly mug lurking around his place trying to steel some licks. >:-)
