Ok, MSP folks, let's start getting everybody ready to go to the DSSGA show on 6-30. Going to be a great show followed by our MSP show on 8-3 in Laurel. We're working together and we're all joined together by one thing in common, STEEL GUITARS!

Everything's about in place for 8-3. We should be real close by the end of June. MSP encourages everybody to show there support for Bill Stafford and the gang on the Gulf Coast on June 30th. We'll be there along with several MSP folks as well!

More new members added today and more tickets have been sold. Everybody's invited. Another feature we'll have at our MSP shows is a section for displaying guitars, steel guitars, etc. to showcase and be seen. Lots of fun for everybody on Aug.3rd and June 30th as well with DSSGA in Ocean Springs, MS. Dec. 7th is our next MSP show. It's being dedicated to all of the veterans as it falls on Pearl Harbor Day on this date. We want everybody to wear red on 12-7 in support of our veteran's at the show. More later!

Lots of folks getting ready for Aug.3rd in Laurel,MS. June 30th is getting closer also for the Ocean Springs, MS. show. We still have 4 slots available out of 17 for the Dec.7th show in Laurel also. 3pm, 3:30pm, 11 pm & 11:30pm. The Comfort Suites in Laurel is the hotel I've lined up to help us with our MSP shows. It's located less than five minutes from the show location.Exit 93 is the exit to take to get to the Laurel VFW. If you continue north on I-59, in just a few minutes you'll see the 16th Ave. exit. Take the 16th Ave. north exit and go to the first red light. Turn left and the Comfort Suites is on the left past the Holiday Inn. Address is 1820 Jefferson Street. Phone number is 601-649-2620. Manager is Lori Sumrall. Comfort Suites has a 3 star rating and provides 24 hour security by the police department. This is probably one of the best, if not the best hotels in Laurel. Everything a person could want is included with the rooms and they also offer a breakfast. Discounted rate for the MSP folks is 71.25 per room for one or two people. This is a very, very nice and clean facility. We only want the best for our MSP folks! More later!

Folks already making reservations at the Laurel Comfort Suites for the 8-3 show. More tickets sold today and last night for the show also. We should be finished and ready by the middle of July for 8-3. Right now we're gearing up for 6-30 on the Gulf Coast. We'll be there playing, visiting and signing up new MSP members as well.

Its going to be a GOOD-UN you can bet on that and were looking forward to it. Lots of new folks singing up everyday. Jim

Our MSP Club now has a vice-president. He's Jackie Ferguson from Collins, MS. Jackie is a songwriter/singer and will be responsible for MSP talent shows. He'll also be in charge of our PA equipment and set up for each show. Any MSP member wishing to speak with Jackie can reach him at 601-641-1055.
