Send Your Song File To Be Heard Around The World

Thanks Al for the comment on my song. I enjoyed your version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow and you like always have a magnificent chord arrangement to that song. I got the idea for Steelin The Blues from a Curly Chalker album I bought in 1976 called More Ways To Play and I love the way Curly would use that tenth string drop on that song with the C6 tuning.

Bill Stafford-You are right there. I just heard Nic's song and it is just beautiful playing, nice touch. Just like you have yourself.
John McGlothlin-Your "Steelin the Blues" was kinda different from the original old Jerry Byrd. Yes, I liked your version, a little Curly Chalker.
Eddie Harper-just heard your "Farewell Party" and sounded real good, nice E9th playing.
Thanks again to Charles Tilley for all the work he puts into his Website so we can hear all these fine recordings. But Hey tilley, as mine is 4-4-09 new for april, why isn't it in GReen like the other new ones?...al.

Thanks, Ray,
This song was written by Mike Batt, and sung by Katie Malua (sp?). What struck me at the time was the way the chordal structure followed the melody....and the meter changes was quite a challenge to sort out. Only after writing out the chord chart did I think of finding it on the internet.....to my surprise my chart was spot on! Anyway, glad you enjoyed it.
Kind regards,
Nic

Jeff Colson-Just heard your "King of the Road". sounded like good western swing on that C6. Nice Job...al
Chuck Christensen-Just heard the old classic "Canadian Sunset" Pretty darned good on that E6 for 8 strings and non-Pedal. You are doing very well since the Stroke.I am glad you are recovering well...al

Nic that is about the smoothest job I have ever heard that song done. I grew up in Southwest Virginia and Mel Street had a local television show on WHIS TV every Monday night and he would always open with his signature song "Barrowed Angel" Mel Street and the Swing Kings. Again...you sound fabulous.

Charles Powell-Just heard your "Sweet Memories" and it sounded fine with good tone, etc, but not loud enough in the mix. I wish I could hear the steel out front more.
Red Saxon-I just heard your song "Secret Love". Nice tone. Usually I hear that one on C6, so it is different sound on E9. But very nice...al:)

Nic Du Toit-I just heard your new song "Borrowed Angel". Very Nice! All the great E9 licks in it.
I see on your profile that you are a Recording Studio Operator. What kind of equipment were you using on the song? It sure sounded good...al:)
