I agree; the Jo Stafford was just a little teaser for you. As we discussed on Bob Carlucci's thread, keeping the great parts of music up to date is the real calling.
Jo's music was then; this is now, and I'm really looking forward to hearing how the older expressions can keep up with the time.
Charlie.

Charlie
I have no clue as to if I would want to spend as much time working out charts and arrangements
If I had a choice one would be Bucky Pizzerelli The other the great Bobby Caldwell. Its a new age and I am not about to be able to pay for rehearsels sp? and practice.
I doubt at this time of my life It will ever happen. But keep the faith.

Edited
The updated TV Live appearance on the CBS Arthur Godfrey show on cd has been cancelled. Due to an error on my part,I asked the manufacturer to cancel all orders for the updated version.
If and when the updated version is available
I will post the information. The present version is still available in a very limited supply of app 26 cd's.
Thank You<font size="1" color="#8e236b"><p align="center">[This message was edited by Jody Carver on 08 September 2005 at 11:07 AM.]</p></FONT>

Good news
I spoke with the management and they in fact will have an updated cd after all. I have to send them my orignal acetates Sp?) and they will burn the updated version of the Godfrey show for those of you who have asked for them
I cant find anything here in my house, I lose everything, I think they call that "getting old"
in any event they should be ready in three weeks.I will post this information as soon as I hear anything and thank you, I am feeling better.
Thank You, all of you
Jody

Hey Rick whadda ya mean thats good news? getting old and confused or having my Godfrey Show updated WHAT??
Posted: 9 Sep 2005 3:10 pm
by Rick Alexander
Both actually. There's only one alternative to getting old, so I'm glad you're old.
As for the confused part - no problem, I can relate. I color code my finger picks and then I forget which color goes on which finger . .
But seriously folks, that is great news because now we get to hear the whole Arthur Godfrey deal especially the part where Jody wins.
<marquee>My favorite part of all is Caravan with the big orchestra. That is smokin!</marquee>
