I just got a remixed version of the 1985 live FBB release on Relix - has some added songs, but the "Christine's tune" on this one is *THE* one IMO. He takes a ride on the verse that's breathtaking (not just the fuzz leads where they normally fall), and a couple of fills come out of nowhere and knock your knickers off. The whole CD has him playing with a really strong attack - you can just "feel" him knowing things were "on" that night and he had all that and a bag o' chips going.

I can see him smiling that night. And the thing is, it's not the technical stuff that's amazing - it's the feel (as Anita says, the "heart") that's in it.

Find yourselves copies, folks. Not to be missed.

Sounds good Jim. I just recorded a version of "Sister" at my home and I have to spend a bit more time on it. The tone is close but not quite there. I think I need to record a bit more room in with the steel. Well you know I ain't no "Sneaky Pete" I'm more like "Rusty Shorts!" Image
