Yep, that old airplane is about 20 years old!

Ebay and pawnshop standards would put that in the "priceless vintage collectors' item" category, wouldn't they?

If they could only get Ricky Davis up there to work on it their troubles would be over. It's great to have Steve on the forum, looking forqard to his safe return.

We all believe Steve is a great guy and has done a fantastic job. I suggest we need him for President.

I think he'd be a shoo-in. He's got the world view, and plays something cooler than the sax, which is better than playing nothing but an iPod.
And he sounds like a humble, honest guy.

Well, that lets him out for pres....

There's a veterans memorial park here.
On the other side of the park is a statue--bigger than life--of a man in a space suit, beside a boy holding a model airplane. The plaque says William 'Willie' McCool--what a cool name--who graduated from Lubbock Hi (years after me) and died in the Columbia accident over Texas.
I guess that's why it's bigger than life.

Looking forward to seeing Steve back home.

How about a new brand, NASA Steels? "There's no cabinet drop in outer space."

You know those guys and gals have got to be extremly brave to go up in a rocket at 17000+ MPH. I have a LOT of respect for all the astronauts. I had no idea Mr. Robinson played steel guitar. I pray for their safe return.

This fact only enhances the tremendous amount of admiration I hold for you guys Steve.

Seems to be a "down to earth" kind of guy too...well most of the time, anyway
