Tom was the "constant" that a lot of us local players knew from our dealings there at SI over the years.

Inasmuch, a dozen or so of us local players also got together a small "severance bonus" to help with his transition, family addition, relocation, and impending family concerns, and to basically show OUR support for him, his superb craftsmanship, and our hearty recommendation.

ANY rebuilder, PSG manufacturer, or other company will be very lucky to get this kind of dedication and skill. They should pay him more than he asks for by about twice.

It certainly didn't go un-noticed by those of us that have played here for decades, and traded there, regardless of what kind of guitar we play.

In this worst economy in the nation, it's been trying for many of us here in Oregon. Myself included.

Hopefully the dedicated and truly sincere will find a way to make it closer to "the top" as better times return. Maybe even some of the "rest of us"..
