Jim,Some people have a hard time with the numbers system. I had guys in my band that had problems playing and counting fingers at the same time. Might be hard for Jerry to get his boots off when he has to play a minor. Image

Now I didn't come here to be made sport of...... As far as the number system goes it's probably one of the greatest things to ever come along in music. Just being able to listen to a radio without a guitar or anything and writing down a usable chart is great.

John, both you and Joe C. could have been big stars, the only thing holding you guys back was your pickin' and singin'....JH

When the counter calls for "off 2" instead of "on 3", when does the the picku-p notes start? I know the difference but I was wondering if anyone else had played with a band that used this method of counting.
