Wrong Key!

Not the wrong key, but once doing a Gospel Concert in Roseburg Ore, had the 6th snap and slide out from under my bar right near the end of a song.

Well that 6th string was "Key" to the kick off of the next song, and although I had the song in the correct Key, but I was soooooo shook not having that 6th string that I kicked the song off in 3/4 time... it was a 4/4 song :oops: :oops: :oops: My brother was playing bass and pulling on the strings as hard and as loud as he could and was able to get us back on track.

My faux pas usually stem from tunes I'm not too familiar with and starting erroneously say, pedals up or pedals down resulting intro resolve to the 5 of the key v. the 1.

Example: Intro for Key of E coming out in B. Pretty embarrasing. :oops:
