I play a Psuedo Emmons which is actually a S-12 BMI with 7 floor pedals and 5 knee levers. It originally was all black mica but the front apron's been replaced with a real oak strip upon which was placed one of the raised Emmons logos. It's a clean, nice looking guitar which plays well and sounds great.....JH

I have a 72 Emmons D-10. It came from the factory as an 8 x 4 and I had Bobbe Seymour add the LKV lowering 5 and 10.

Heres one I bet ya never heard of. I am playing a Diller S-12U Keyless with 8 pedals & 5 knee levers, E9th/B6th Tuning. Guitar is about 20 something years old, made by a local fellow that was a machinist at the Mack Truck Factory in Hagerstown Md. Top is eastern hard rock maple with local cherry wood for the front & back aprons. I am told that the finish was done by an employee of the Moller Organ company in Hagerstown. Md. Sounds good, plays good.

I play a '90s Zum S12U 7&5. I go into a Hilton volume pedal, then into a Digitech RP100A multiple effects unit for reverb and fuzz, then into a '70s Fender Super Twin amp in a custom head cabinet. For speakers I use single Eminence 15" 4 ohm in a closed-back reflex cabinet, or two 15" 8 ohm JBLs in Marrs closed-back ported cabinets. For quieter gigs I use a Dual Showman Reverb head with the same speakers. For really quite jams and practices with acoustic instruments, I use a '70s Fender Pro Reverb with a 15" Jensen, or a '70s Music Man with a single 12" Celestion speaker. I also have an Emmons push-pull S12U with 3&4 that I am upgrading to 8&5.

I play a double 12 1974 MSA 9 on the floor and 5 knees and a single 12 1976 MSA 4 on the floor and 5 knees, my own set up but close to Emmons and a 1956 double eight non-pedal Rickenbacker. I play through a Peavey Transfex Pro with two cabinets with black widows, Evans SE-200, Evans FET-500 and a Genisis III. Volume pedals Goodrich LDR, Goodrich 10K and Goodrich L120.

See below, all with 2" liftkit, Goodrich volume pedal, Cobra Coil strings, Sierra bar. I sit on a heavy-duty drum stool, I can adjust that high enough for my long legs. Just got the universal, spent the weekend tweaking. It's cool, but I've got plenty of work ahead.
