Please note Mike Salley will not be at this show.
He called and said he would not be able to make it to this show.
We will have many local players at the show with lots of talent so come on out and enjoy the steel guitar music.

NC Steel Jam

REMINDER- Members of the NC Mid Alantic Steel Guitar Association and Steel Guitar Forum Members join us for a Steel Jam on April 29 at the Southern Theater & Events Center 18639-S-NC-Hwy-109 Denton NC 27239. Doors open at 9:30AM. Food is available in the facilility, restaurants and fast food places within one mile. Dobro and Lap steel players come and participate. Any Questions call the president Eddie Drye 336-862-3688 , Jimmy Hudson 704-986-6481, Jimmy will have some of the guitars he builds that you can see and play, Ray Thomas 919-920-5482, will have Livesteel Steel guitar strings available. If you have musical items for sale bring them. Its expensive to rent these facilities so we ask for an entry fee of $10.00 per person and a $10.00 fee to rent a table. I would like to have a table at the upcoming event. I have a good selection of instructional material for E9 an C6 tuning. My wife will also be attending. Looking forward to it.

Sadly, I will not be able to attend, dang.

I received a call for a gig, last minute , from a friend in real need for his Saturday night show. The bad news it's 60 miles the opposite direction from where I live to Denton.

I hope everyone has a good time and it's a big success.

:lol: Had a great time in denton seemed like Allen and Joe were my favorites all did good. I like to play round robin where everyone gets a try or pass on the same song . I play tapes at home !

Very sorry I had to miss, had planed for several months but my wife had eye surgery very close to the date. I had a box of Livesteel strings that could be purchased with no shipping so therefore I will run a special for the month of May with no charge for shipping so email me, rthomas17@nc.rr.com or call or text at 919-920-5482 sorry I missed seeing you guys at the jam, maybe next time

How about another Jam? Remember, E.R. is looking down on us lets not let him down. We all need to keep the fire burning for steel guitar and all the friendships that have been made over the years. We never know when the last time will be to see some of our loved ones and friends of steel guitar. I challenge all of you to help support another "JAM & Cram", Jam some steel guitar and Cram some friendship.
