I've got a D10 LeGrande III black aprons and grey top with eight and five, chrome fretboards and stock single coils that I got from Kurt Kowalski about a week and a half ago. I think this has the best tone that I've ever had on any guitar.

I LOVE IT!!!!!

Thanks Kurt! Image

There are several PP players in Portland, me, Harley James, Robin Suskin, Mark Simpson, Lynn Stafford as well as Ray Montee.

Steve Tufford lives in Vancour Wa and Tony Glassman lives in southern Oregon.

Don't forget about Doug Jones.

Great thread Guys,
Getting alot of fine input here. Well heres what I've got.

1966 Emmons P/P, D-10, bolt-on, black 8&4 (my pride & joy) bought from and set up by Mike Cass.

1966 Emmons P/P, S-10, bolt-on black 3&5
this one was Harold Fogle's little Emmons

1971 Emmons P/P, D-10, Rosewood, Fatback, 8x5 (SWEET) this one I got from Stevie Hinson and used to belong to Dave Robbins. Yes Dave, there is another color besides BLACK!

1999 Emmons Lashley LeGrande III, SD-10, Green Laquer (beautiful) 3x4. Jack Strayhorn & Ron Preston built this one for me before they left the Company.

Hey, Nick...Great thread... Image
S-10, 4 Floors, 6 knees...With ALL the "Fixins'" Image (Turquoise Mica with inlay)

BTW, Jerry Roller, Didn't we at Emmons build you a D-10 Red Lacqure that (I can't say WHO) got "Nicked" in between the necks while "Under Construction" that I had talked to you on the phone about? Seems to me that was one of your orders..But, it might have been for someone else...I can't remember Image

Nick,
Both you and Jay have exceeded the Emmons owner threshold as specified on page 321A subsection b2 of the Emmons owner agreement doucument. For that reason, I will assist both of you by taking that "hideous" green wood guitar of yours and that kinda plain looking one of Jays. Since I am such a nice guy, I will even come pick them up for free!... Image

Wait.. Wait.....hold your applause. I will also include a free lesson from the "Bremond Famous Steeler", me! I will teach you and Jay everything I know on the steel! That should take at least two minutes! Image Image

Good Thread Nick! I love that lacquer guitar!
