This is such a great story... I just happened on to it today. Real nice!

As the guy who paints the ceilings at my house, I have to agree with your two rules.

A couple of more upgrades to the music room:

My new Rains SD-10 3x5:

I also just ordered 3 new Carvin mics, 3 new heavy duty boom mic stands and 2 new Carvin Spot monitors with wall mount brackets! This should round out a decent setup and keep us from moving mics around going forward. We have a decent sound now but by adding the two Carvin spot monitors will give the two musicians at each end of the stage some help.

Ok I just received my Carvin order. I just have to throw this out there. Now I know for you high end audiophile type this is not for you.

I ordered 3 Carvin M68 mics, 3 booms stands and a pair of Carvin spot monitors. These mics for the money (3 mics & 3 cords $159) the spot monitors ($119 with two super heavy duty 20' cords) and another $35 for wall mount brackets. Bottom line, for what I paid and what I got, I have NO complaints whatsoever!

I am a huge fan of Carvin products. Their stuff seems to hold up well and they answer questions when you call!

Oh yeah!

I think Dale Watson might say you've got the "Honky-est Tonky-est Beer Joint In Town" there.

Reece might frown on that latest addition. ;)

Thanks! Loving my Honky Tonk/Saloon! I "open" it up every evening around 5pm. Turn all the lights on, set myself up a Makers Mark & Coke and fire up the Peavey Deuce and the Rains, of course the Carvin system is already cranking out the Pandora tunes since about 9am each and every morning!

As for the latest upgrade, sorry Reece. As much as I enjoyed the MSA I am thrilled to have something newer and lighter, more mobile etc.
