I'm sorry to hear about Charlie, but I hope he will be playing on the show. I have known Charlie since back in the sixties where we did a jam in the basement of the Music Mart. I have been a fan of Charlie's ever since. If any of you have never heard Charlie play, you need to check him out. He plays like Jimmy Day with the soul, touch and feel which is where it's at for my taste.

I'm looking forward to this great show and it promises to be the best ever with the lineup Jerry has put together. I hope to see everyone there.

Hi Bill,
It's good to see that you'll be able to make it. I look forward to hearing you play again this year, even more so knowing your band is coming along too. It looks like we will have another big crowd. Remember that Jerry's wife Gloria is making the veggie soup and my wife Patricia is bringing the cracklin cornbread for lunch. There will be sweets, and drinks available too. Everyone come prepaired for a good day of music and food.

Hey Jerry,

Bob Strickland is riding over with me from SC to join the already strong team of Woody and Johnny. It's always a real treat to have all three of these great players on a show. It looks like everything is really coming together for a great day, I'm really looking forward to it.

See ya soon,
Jim

Jim,
Bring Bob and make your way on to Georgia. We have two more Sundays before we have a day of good listening music. Feb. 5th is just around the corner. Again let me remind you how many great players we have ready to entertain you. I'm sure you will hear something you will like. I invite all the Alabama music loversand players over so we can get to know them. It would be nice to have them in the family as well as us being in theirs. Hey guys I am looking forward to hearing all of you play. Everyone be careful and I will see you Feb. 5th.

Jerry, I passed out the Flyer Ronnie sent to all attendees at our first meeting Saturday, the 14th. Hope our Gang comes out in Force. The Georgia folks have been so supportive of our efforts and we really appreciate it. Roger Crawford attended our first meeting to hold my hand. We are off to a good start and we are supporting your show. See you on the 5th.

Jerry, I have mailed out flyers to all the music stores who are dealers for the Carter Starter Steel. I went earlier today and dropped one off at Jackson's Music Store in Douglasville and the Music Depot. I have even sent one to Rhubard Jones and Dallas McCabe at Eagle 106.7. I understand that Rhubarb is a big steel fan. We are down to 19 days until the show. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone and listening to all the great music.

We have a $20.00 gift certificate to the local Horse Town and I'm sure many more thinge to draw on during the day. We want everyone to come and enjoy themselves. See you on the 5th.

Hey Guys,
Thanks to all who have taken the time to promote this show. I found out yesterday that Wall Street Journal printed that The Shriners Hospital for Children in the third best charity to donate to. This is saying a lot. Just think of all the charities that are out there. I am hoping for a great turn out. I am believing we are going to have one. I would like to thank Jack Conyers for the $40.00 donation he sent to us. I hate he will not be able to be with us on the day of the show. Thanks Jack. Looking forward to Feb.5th. See you guys there. We will also announce the next steel guitar player to be added to the "Wall Of Honor". I will know as soon as the committee informs me.

Thanks to all

Many of you can probably imagine my chagrin at having to miss this one after all...

I've signed on for another run of "Always Patsy Cline" at the Black Bear Theatre in Helen up in North Georgia and Feb 5 falls right in the middle of the run. No way to make it back or forth from a 2pm matinee show. I'm hoping you guys will crank it up so I can hear a few notes floating in the mountain air...

Thanks to Jerry and everyone for inviting me. Hope to make the next one, I can tell I'm missing a monster!

Hey Mark...we'll miss you, buddy! "Patsy" sounds like it will be a cool gig, though. We'll see if my NV112 will crank up that loud! It will be a good show, for sure.
See you soon,
Roger

Larry,
I had you on at an earlier time, but you e-mailed me a told me to put you on at a later time. I had you going on after Charlie Vaughn and had Roger as the closer. Either way you both are good players and shouldn't have a problem keeping the crowd entertained. I must admit Larry you do have a mighty powerful openning act. Just don't get nervious you'll do just fine.

And on top of that they open for me
Thanks again,
