Willie doesn't have a home on Maui (Wowie) for nothing!

Did the doctors conclude it was caused by pot, or are you coming to your own conclusion?
He maybe ate too many eggs.
Maybe he smoked the eggs. :\

It seems to me that ANYTHING that isn't intended to go into the lungs can cause some kind of damage, like breathing chemicals, sawdust, smoke of any kind, etc.
A pathologist told me that he's seen the lungs of a young smoker feel like a brick and an old smoker's lungs still be soft. He concluded that it wasn't the agent, it was the body's reaction TO the agent.

Joe, I wish I knew. If I was talking to my ex, I could find out for you. She could torch up eggs like you've never seen before. Image

Making anything illegal just prevents it being regulated, and creates a black market which answers to no-one. It's bad enough to use drugs; worse to rely on the integrity of those selling the drugs as to their purity and concentration.

Of course, that applies to the legal drug companies, too. They're out to make a buck at your expense. :(

My father smoked excessively and died of lung cancer. Because I had to breath it in throughout my childhood, I may well contract lung cancer from his ignorance.

Live and let live. No-one is perfect. I drink too much, but I've never smoked. All in all, liquor is probably worse for you than mariajuana.

By the way, I eat eggs, bacon and sausage excessively, but I don't think I could rival Cool Hand Luke.

Is there really any question?
If I'd drank as much booze instead of the pot I smoked as a kid, I'd been dead before adulthood and never enjoyed decades of Willie. Last checkup, the Doc said I was off-the-chart healthy. Now, if Willie would just do another show on Oahu...

Look at poor Randy Travis. He should hang-out with Willie more. I wonder if anyone has tried to use pot to get people off of booze?

Most full time boozers get too effected by just a single toke, it messes up their heads big time. But there are those who do both and some who've made the full switch, and are doing much better with weed.

growing up in the sf bay area in the hippy era i've gotten fairly adept at both and more. never had any related health or social problems and never spent a minute in jail and i'm 64.
(never got rich, either)
how bout you forum members?

Pretty much like you Chris. And, I even smoked for 10 years as a kid on top of all the rest. Only drink now, and that is pretty much confined to a drink per set (or so) at a gig, or if I go out (which is only a few times a year, and maybe a six pack every couple of months at home (not all at once, mind you).

I really don't have any views on pot, one way or the other. Probably because it is still illegal is maybe the only reason I don't smoke pot now.

I don't care for the smell of tobacco or pot smoke; however, I've got some mesquite burning in the grill right now. Pretty soon, the smell of that mesquite smoke and the chicken that I'll be grilling will be smelling pretty good. ;-)
