Paul, thats a great pic and I can get a lot of information from that, love the suitcase too, you obviously enjoy taking pictures, me too ! One mod Im considering is having the wings the same length. Do you find the nearside wings hampers the left hand when playing up the neck ? obviously from where it joins the neck ?

Kevin, I've not found the nearside wing restricting. If that is a concern however, you could move the point at which the wing curves down a little closer to the body. I think that the asymetrical look is part of the Danos appeal - a bit like 'modern' furniture of the 50s - which goes with the light coloured finish.
BTW Alan, the Shads switched from Fender to Burns - not the other way round. Apparently Bruce Welch was having tuning problems with the Strat that he was using.
