The Texas guys, Jim Loessberg, Dicky Overby, Rick Price, Bert Rivera, and one of the most underrated steel players in the world in my opinion is Scott Walls. I grew up watching him play. His speed picking is out of this world. But he also is a monster on 4/4 shuffle's and western swing. He's a wonderful player that you rarely hear about.

Allan Jirik billy clark was a great steel player in detroit i learned alot watching him and playing with casey his daddy and freeman cowgar wow those were the days wish i could go back in time i was having a blast back in the 70s more fun then the law would allow these days !

I apologize for the multi posting, even though I think it's not really my fault. When trying to send a reply a "debug" error message popped up. But the message was posted on the forum. I thought, error so try to repost, what I did several times...
And it's not only me that suffer from that forum bug. Another forumite told me he had the same error yesterday.

I think Chuck Campbell is criminally underated but wouldnt call him "unsung".

RR is unsung on this forum too.
You guys should be loving him. He does for the psg what you constantly beg for, to make it popular again and even better and more importantly...he absolutely kills on the instrument, undeniably...and you guys ignore him for the most part or complain he doesnt use his pedals.
