Talked to Buddy tonight, he said a little thing like being in the hospital isn't going to affect the show. Sound like he might be getting a little better and hopes to be home in a couple of days.
SO Buddy if its a nurse make sure it looks like this before you start chasing it<a href='

Hi Donna,
I doubt Linda will be there, but I will talk to her about it. Maybe you could put a little pressure on her to go.
I will email you her work phone.

We're gettin' the wagon loaded now! Wayne's Porta-Potty is scheduled to be delivered Friday evening, and once that's secured (don't want to lose the boy if we hit a bump!)we'll be all set to strike out. We've got the Varsity hot dogs on standby in case we need a little extra "boost" to the mule team. Those things WILL get you rocket powered! The weather forecast looks good, so we may leave the top down to help eliminate wind drag. All in all, we expect to make this trip in record time. Can't wait to hear Mr. Don on that Gibson console! What a super gent he is.

Tommy Dodd called me last night complaining about my post that my band could cook his.
He told me that a highway (Timeless Highway) always ran over a river (Country River Band).
True, but a strong enough river can wash the pillars right out from under the highway.
Not much time, you better think fast TOMMY

Well I didn't want to say this, but,,,,,,,,a river can run dry; And, a river runs its course and then runs out! But a highway can run for a long, long ways. You might say it's almost "Timeless".

Well Tommy, you forced me to do this.
Rivers may run dry, but God replinishes them and that's what He did when he put me with the Country River Band.
Now highways have to be repaved VERY often to run smooth. When was Timeless repaved?
4 days and counting.
Come on out folks.

Roger
Make sure you find some soft Corn Cobs( Georgia Toilet Paper) for Wayne's Porta Potty.<a href='
http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='
http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_1_115.gif' border=0></a> Don't pamper him with a Sears & Roebuck Catalog either. Don't want to spoil him. You know how the Older Folks are, they tend to get a condition in their later years that requires these supplies to be a lttle softer.
Boy this is going to be some Journey. With the Varsity Hot Dogs, Mule Gas in the front and Wayne's gas in the Back.<a href='
http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='
http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_1_105.gif' border=0></a> If you had an engine to burn that gas, you wouldn't have to be Leaving today, maybe a 2 hour trip. <a href='
http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='
http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_4_105.gif' border=0></a>
Are you guys going to fly the Georgia Flag on the trip over? <a href='

Nope, we leave Sunday morning around 7:30 and should arrive by 10:30, that is if Wayne doesn't have to stop and pee pee too often.
Now for those that don't know, Tommy and I ARE friends. We have just been having some fun on this here internet.
Actually I am doing sound for a gig Tommy is playing in December. Shhhhhhh! Don't tell him I don't have a channel for him. hehe

Actually, John - he DID hum
Don't take the Girl but I mentioned hooking Ole Bessy up to the Mule Train so I'd have some company. Well, he changed his mind quickly - even talked about Varsity hot dogs in his sleep last night, saying something about throwing them in a Country River. Have no idea what he was referring to
By the way, I will have a table at the show with steel guitar mugs and bumper stickers! So don't spend all your money at the Varsity, guys!!!

What a GREAT show! Herby, Tommy Dodd, Bill Ferguson, the great Don Helms, my pal Joe Turner, Charles Reese...And who walks in, unannounced? JOE WRIGHT!! What a closer, huh?
Buddy, Charles, I love y'all! Another good show, and a good time. Sorry for all the guys who weren't there.
And Brett Day walks in, and the house went wild! What a GREAT day!!
Oh yeah, Larry Moore...

Stephen - I agree - great show and lots of surprises. I commented on Some of the highlights on another thread. But failed to mention a few things. Larry Moore was excellent!!! And it was clear that his wife, Yvonne(the jewelry lady
) has had a lot of people praying for her. She was radiant and continues healing everyday. WE LOVE YOU, YVONNE!!!
. . . and Stephen - also very nice to meet you in person and chat for so long. (I saw who was next to you!- can NEVER go wrong with a Partner like Him). And please send our love to Mike Bagwell and his family!!
