I'll get those 3 new vids in the index in the next few days. I have been swamped. Mickey is also going to send me a new list and re-classify the uncategorized videos into other categories.

Also, it's best to email me the new video info. I never used to read this section, and am still trying to do it as part of my regular routine. Please email both the title that is to be placed in the index AND the url link so I don't have to go on YouTube and look them up. Thanks.

Be careful what you ask for. I could send you enough stuff that your head would probably spin so fast it would end up landing somewhere here in California.

Thanks Richard for all your great work. I just downloaded the PDF file. And to Mickey, thank you for all the great instruction.
I just love the way that Mickey smiles to bigly and brightly while he is showing us how to play all those great licks the whole way through. I used to be able to play them about halfway through, but with Mickey's videos I stand a pretty good chance of finally learning them correctly. Then I can go about my merry way butchering them as usual, but at least I will believe, with conviction, that I really DO know better.

Hey Mickey and folks,

I am also a pilot player, actually an FAA Inspector. I have a MSA XL 4 by 5 and currently in Oshkosh doing DC-3 stuff. Was in the Wichita FSDO for 3 years that oversee FSI. Anyhow, appreciate you PSG work and everyone else making this possible for an on and off player of 20 years. Safe pickin and flying.

Guys,

This is absolutely fantastic. The only "problem" (if you can call it that) with Mickey's videos is that there are so many of them! They are all excellent, but some are still beyond my skill level, while others are perfect for where I am now. This list will help me zero in on the info I need as I progress, rather than stumbling around hoping to get lucky.

Mickey, thanks for explaining the titles ("BE", "BEX" etc.), I had no clue what they stood for, now I get the organisation of it all. I'm going to take john's lead and get me a stopwatch... :D

Mickey, still awaiting some vids on Sneaky Pete Kleinow licks!

I'd love to get the versions of "Dim Lights" by both him and Buddy Cage.

I've got some updating to do - I'll try and get it edited on the original post.

One change of note is that old BEC-83 has changed and become BEC-83 Someone Save the Honky Tonks SOLO.mpg

Hi, Mickey. Thank you for all that you do. Have you or anyone else started anything for modes study? I see where you have explained some modes but I am thinking of one quick tutorial that starts with the major scale and goes on to explain the Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aolian, and Locrian. Then go into Pentatonic. Something like Claude Johnson did for the guitar. I only own one instrument that being the steel.

Thanks again,

It is easy to play the steel guitar. Playing so that the audience finds it pleasing is the difficult act.

Hi, Everyone:

I just spent about 10 minutes , downloaded the page source from this topic and manually extracted all the links ("thingies" to Roger Rettig!) into a SIMPLE html file that you are free to contact me for. You open it in your browser and you're there! If I'm breaking any rules or code of conduct. please advise :D :D

Mickey, your lessons are the best - there is hope for us beginners! A nice lesson would be "Wabash Cannonball" with Lloyd Green, Billie Jo Spears, George IV:

That would make my beginner fingers cry! I made chart in BIAB and then accidently erased it (BIAB seems good at that!)
