Wow, Richard, you must be the only pedal steel guitarist in the world with a financial advisor! My only financial advisor is when I get the letter from the bank saying I'm overdrawn again!

I was playing with "The Collins Kid's" at Harrah's in Lake Tahoe one night and after we finished our show, we all came out of a side door from back stage that lead right into the lounge where we had just done our show.
A little gray haired lady started motioning for me to come over to her table. Not wanting to disappoint a fan, I walked on over and sat down.
She looked at me and ask "Are you good friends with the boys in the band?"
That kind of threw me for a second, but I thought about it and said "Yea, I'm good friends with the boys in the band."
She said "I JUST KNEW YOUR WERE, BECAUSE YOU GET TO SIT AT THAT SPECIAL LITTLE TABLE UP ON THE STAGE WITH THEM!!!

I saw a video of Boxcar Willie on YouTube, and when the steel player started his steel solo on his Mullen during 'Wabash Cannonball, Boxcar called it a Hawaiian pedal electric steel guitar.
