Gordon, we are all excited about seeing and hearing you again also. And, Ronnie has been in town rehearsing with Hank so we are all in for some of the best steel music anywhere. Have a very full schedule and the program will be posted this coming week.
Food wise-my sister Gladys has agreed to make us a very large pot of REAL FRESH SHRIMP GUMBO-and her long time experience in this makes it the best in the world. (I was at her home for dinner today and after the first bowl, I HAD to eat four more). This will be a special gift for all the players from her and me in appreciation of all you guys. See you soon.

Bill, you can't go wrong with Hal Higgins' playing.
He is a real talented player. I have heard Hal play, and he has been to my house before. IMHO Hal is fine and gracious gentleman.

Hey friends,

Hate it, but I'm not gonna make it to Mississippi this time. From the looks of the great line-up of players, and the reputation of this fine show, I know I'll be missing a great time. Mr. Bill, I promise to get down there one of these days.

Hal, I hate I'm gonna miss the opportunity to meet you, I was really looking forward to it. About the hair, let's just be proud we still have some to make fun of, right?

Anyway, everybody have a little extra fun to make up for what I'll miss.

See ya soon,
Jim

I am so excited about coming to watch the show, I can't stop talking about it to my friends and co-workers. I even told my boss, I would be out of town this weekend, so don't call to me to come in. I'm really looking forward to meet everybody face to face and shake hands and say howdy everyone that I have chatted with on forum. I already know Hal. And he is player that I admire and love to hear play. We live right around the corner from each other in the same town too. And Tommy I am really looking forward to meeting you too. I'll have the wife with me too, to keep me in line as always.
