THANKS, John. I'll be flying the corporate helicopter down (probably have to stop in Commerce to re-wind the propeller), so that aerial shot is a big help. I won't be doing Saluda, so I'm looking forward to seeing y'all!

Friends All,
I thank you all for the thoughts and prayers you all sent up for my family and me. My Mother has gone to be with the Lord. I have no doubt I will see her and my Dad again. I appreciate you all for your support. It's not easy losing a parent.
I hope to see all of you in about a week.
Thanks
Jerry

Hello Everyone.
Only one week left. Here is some information about this year's show.
There is another event scheduled for the Activities building out back, so we're using the Shrine Ballroom this year. Enter through the front door of the Shrine Building underneath the round dome behind the Silent Messenger statue out front. This entrance faces Ponce de Leon Avenue as shown in the aerial view above. Proceed through the lobby to the Ballroom on that level of the building. Parking is available all around the building as you can see from the picture. Unload your equipment at the ramp on the right (EAST) side of the building as you approach to roll it to the door. Your guest can unload under the portico at the steps before you park, if you wish.
If you have any questions, please ask and I will try to answer during the next week.
We're looking forward to seeing everyone in the Ballroom next week.

I put The Aerial View up teasing Stephen Gambrell, but I guess it served a purpose. Know that You Guys will have a great Show.

Music Lovers and Hospital Supporters
If nothing happens at the end of this week we will be having one great steel show. My best friend in the world, Tim Atwood, will be with us playing keyboard. Some of you may know Tim, he is part of the staff band on the Grand Ole Opry. He and I have been friends and worked together since back in the early 70's when he became a part of the Jim Ed Brown Show. We have shared a lot over the years, he's my Bud.
I also want to say a big thank you to all the fine player who have called and asked to be a part of our cause. I wish we had more time to let all who want to play share their talent. I do hope these player will make themselves available next year. As you all know as the cost of everything else goes up, so does the cost of operating the 22 Shriners Hospitals across North America. You should be proud to say you have had a hand in keeping these hospitals operating.
Music can give you joy, laughter, fellowship, friendship, cures and help. I hope I can be a part of this for the rest of my life.
I look forward to seeing all of you next Sunday. Come early, stay late.
The doors will be open at 9:o'clock, the show is slated to start at 10:o'clock. The front seats will go fast.

Jerry My Brother, I hope you are a Part of this for a long time, Myself. I thoroughly enjoy your music and it Reminds me of Days gone by in Nashville when we were both a Lot younger. If I can ever help you in any way to promote The Great Work of the Shriners, You can always call on me.

News from the show.
I thank all our guest for the great job they did today. It is alway good to see and Hear Russ Hicks. Ron Elliott did an excellant job and it was nice to spend some time with he and Leslie. Herby was his usual good self. I thank Jeremy Drawbaugh for coming over from Alabama and being a part. Bob Strum came from South Carolina and played well. All our home boys did a wonderful job. I thank the great staff band, without their talent it would be hard to do this show. I want to give a special thanks to my best friend, Tim Atwood, for making the trip to Atlanta. It was great to spend some time with he and Roxie. I love her too.
Larry Sasser we missed you. Rob, I'm sure you had rather been here with us instead of being stuck in the snow. We missed you too.
Everyone that missed this show missed a good one.
Now, lets all go to Saluda and help them raise some more money for the Shriners Hospital for Children.
Thanks again for all your support
