thank you, beautiful guitar, this brings back many memories, in 1988 when I started playing steel, I had Winnies book to help me start... those are the happiest days in my entire music career , discovering something new every day, playing with the friends, and enjoying music... I think I lost the fun part somewhere along the way, in some honky-tonks playing "sweet home Alabama" ... ha well ... maybe one day I will go back to Europe and play some country music again lol

This is my first build and I made everything except the keyhead, tuners, pickup, legs and changer base. Just used basic hand tools, $70 drill press and a Shopsmith. Maybe not as nice as some but I sure enjoy trying to learn and playing it everyday :)

You can do a "search" on Bcon. Pictures of a home made steel I bought back in the spring. I made a few adjustment and now it plays good. I still can't find out anything about it.
