What do you use as a seat? and why?
I have a pack seat, but I use it only because it'll fit easily in the trunk of a car. Having my druthers, I much prefer an ordinary dining room chair; something comfortable, stable, and with a decent sized back.

I play a little piano from time to time and find my Proline piano bench works fine for steel too. Its light and collapses and the height is easily adjustable and the cushion is very comfortable. It was about $75 new.

Hey Donnie, I found an old used Emmons seat that uses the fold out legs that "snap" in the corner brackets and no wing nuts in sight. It holds my big 250 pounds just fine and the seller told me it once belonged to John Hughey. I guess my inspiration will come from the bottom up!
Emmons S10, p/p, Nashville 112, Zion 50 tele style guitar, Gibson LP Classic w/Vox AC30, Fender Deluxe De Ville and a Rawdon-Hall classical

I have a black Elite with back rest I bought from Jerry Roller. The seat is very confortable,(even with my bad back) and sturdy. And the price is very resonable.
