Brad,
Looks like we almost have the same guitar. I have the Franklin pedal on mine, and a Lawrence XR-16 pickup. The Williams is one of the best built guitars on the market today. Beautiful craftsmanship, excellent mechanics in the undercarriage, and a nice guitar to play.

Larry, I have the Wallace Tru-Tone PU's and I have 3 floor pedals and 7 knee levers (Which, for the most part) I only use 5 knees..but the other two are there when I need them.

I'm very grateful for the SGF and especially Erv Niehaus for helping me make my decision to purchase the Williams Steel. The Williams changer has a great design because it bends the string less at the changer end, resulting in less string breakage. I've had mine 11 months now and have not broken any strings. Also Bill eliminated the pins that the strings on the changer end attach. A lot of thinking went into the design of this great changer and the result is much less string breakage. Larry, don't forget, Bill holds a patent on his design...no one is allowed to copy it.
