I know it's true, 'cause my wife won't let me forget.

Thank you, all, for this thread---I kind of needed a reminder that there's something warm righteous & decent out there. This will do nicely. Congratulations on what looks like a special weekend. I predicted in an earlier thread that after Plan A crapped out you would make this something to be talked about for years to come. Looks like you all made it happen.

Mike ... I've spent many anite in the
Doghouse ... in fact, I'm almost there now
I've had no "nibbles" on the
Boob ... to "pay the piper" ... or in this case ... "pay for the pipers"
Course I ain't been tryin' too hard. The
Boob's the best soundin' steel in this house & I loathe thinkin' of partin' with it.
Maybe I'll just write it all off as one unforgetable day ... and get banished to the doghouse for awhile ...
Ain't a bad place to be exiled to ...
... as long as I'm packin' some JB, Iona, & other essentials ...

Hi, I'm Chris Aiello
Rick is full of it !
I am more than happy with the way everything turned out and haven't said one word about the cost.
He is certainly heading to the doghouse now, without his precious Jerry Byrd records.
The nerve of that man !
PS: Thanks for that photo of Andrew !!

The closest I got was flying over on my way to a family visit to Fla. and I think I would have had a better time with you guys. How about some sounds? I'm dying to hear some clips.

I did record some of the jamming. I'll see what I can get going but I'll need help in posting sound clips, or if someone would do that.
One tune in particular....Beseme Mucho with just Gerald (Michael Dunn Futura) and Mike (1930s Kona Weissenborn).

Send me a clip, Howard and I'll see if I can get it happening (I don't know what my bandwidth allowance is. Let's find out.)
How's the acoustics in that doghouse, Rick?

I can't believe I was back in my motel room looking at the inside of my eyelids when all that 'jammin' was going on!
