Yeah Ron...

I'll put on my yarmulke (and believe me, I've got plenty of 'em) and ask...

What do you mean by Nuremburg?

Well, I'm a chemist ... I'm certainly no historian.

But I recall Nuremberg as a city associated with Nazi propoganda during WWII ... and later the site where the Nazi war crime trials were held.

Again, I would like to know how this is associated with Steel Guitar or HSGA ???

It has no relation to steel or the HSGA, it was in response to a mention in a previous post.
We're supposed to keep it non-political on this forum, but..., I'd love to see another see another way overdue anti-nazi style trial, with the gallows at the ready. (I didn't say that)
I was gonna give it a seperate post under my " :D " to hopefully avoid a conection/confussion, but heard the lunch bell and had to run.

And while I have your attention, Gerald and Rick, I DO thank you for the time and effort you give to the HSGA, and steel in general. It's invaluable, everybody knows that.
Sorry to be a thorn in you guy's hide's, as we are all on the same basic page, in many ways.
I've made attempts in the past to bury the hatchet without much success, and will always be willing to. Not to say I'd stop voicing my opinions, and that'll probably always be the divide. But, it's all in the spirit of 'constructive' critisism, because I give a damn.
I know that's probably not believeable to you and by some of your bretheren, but that's the way the noose tightens.
I'll live with it, and hope for the best, for all.

The original topic of discussion was instructional material made available to HSGA members on their web site. I think that's an entirely valid discussion to be held here as well, but we're veering too far off topic at this point.

I'm closing this topic.

I don't know what Ron meant by referring to Nuremburg, but I think he's trying to invoke Godwin's Law (As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one). I'm personally offended by it.

If you are interested in obtaining the PowerPoint presentation that Kay Das has so kindly provided, go to the Hawaiian Steel Guitar Association web site and register to become a member. Then you'll have access to their members-only forum section where this file is located.
