Hey, Alan (Brookes)
What year is that Mk 2 Jag? And is that a Dinky Toy Commer Harrington coach in the background on the canal scene?
Even though it's a challenge in Florida, I'm an avid collector of model London Transport buses and trolleybuses. I have hundreds, and my wife is cursing the Sunstar Company who have begun producing 1/24th scale RMs and RTs!!!!! Lovely....
Lots of golf between gigs for me - Florida IS good for that!

You guys have some very interesting hobbies. I collect slot cars or model race cars, many of you probably remember them from your childhood such as AFX,TYCO,Thunder Jets etc..I owned a Slotcar Raceway for a few years and really enjoyed it. I have generated quite a collection over the years. In the near future I will post some photos of my extensive collection and photos of my four lane track layout located in my basement. Great topic, Del.

I had car like this new in '65. After 36 years of looking, my brother found this car for sale in Florida. After about 30 seconds of thinking about it I bought it for just a little more than I paid for the first one. (yeah right)
We also have a '66 Plymouth that we used to race. That one will be redone now that I've retired.

My other main hobby is photography. We're lucky enough to live in an area world famous for its scenery so the possibilities are endless. Here's a recent photo.

)...also love model railroading and fly fishing and fly tying...used to be involved in shooting with a Tika 22/250 and a 25/06...but sold them both prior to leaving Australia......life is full atm and I`m happy

When not playing steel guitar, I love classic cars, my two cats, camping, boats, golf carts, and the beach, and country music in general. I also enjoy video games. I've got one of those Playstation 2 systems. I also like to listen to light rock and eighties music too.

I used to do a lot of leatherwork -- holsters, gunbelts, guitar straps, etc., but carpal tunnel pretty much knocked that hobby out.
I used to shoot a lot, but thieves and a divorce took care of most of my gun collection...that depressed me to the point of not even trying to rebuild it. Lately though, I've been getting invited to dove hunts with dear friends who don't mind loaning me their spare shotguns, so I'm starting to get the bug again.
In the meantime, I'm having fun planning things I'll build for my upcoming first grandchild.

Steel guitar is the most deeply rooted hobby I have, but, I have others too.
Model railroading
Gun collecting
Hunting big game
Shooting black powder guns ( rifles and pistols )
And my last and most recent- 2007 C6 Corvette Coupe
It took 34 yrs. to get this vette since I sold my last one in 1973. It has shaved years off my age and mind. It's amazing what hobbies can do.

Shooting Yankee's (War Between the States Re-Enacting), breeding Angelfish (got into this accidentally when a friend gave me a breeder pair). Got 3 separate spawns now! Anybody local want some free fish? Occasional woodworking when necessary, and collecting Confederate relics. I only have a few relics so far, they tend to be quite pricey!

I would say Pedal Steel Guitar is my favorite hobby...but have been a Fishing Guide on the
Texas Coast for a few years in which I am making
more of a hobby now out of it than a profession
now...love getting out in the Surf early in the
morning and catch a big stringer of Speckled Trout
on Top water lures...also love to Fly when I get a
chance to...had other hobbies like Bull Riding
and Rodeo's when I was younger but hung up the
Spurs many years ago...

When not riding Old BMW motorcycles, practising Martial Arts, I do as all Frenchies do:
Wolfing huge amounts of Smelly Cheeses and Frog Legs as well as Gulping enormous quantities of costly Bordeaux Wine while bawling bawdy songs in company of old friends, under the shadow of the cherry tree, where the big table is setted!

Jamming with newfound friends. I travel a beaten path through the beautiful Berkshire Hills, where I've always made my home. Picnics at family gatherings are a lot of fun, when the emphasis is on good food and music. When knowledgeable visitors open a spirited conversation that is music related, I go along for the ride. Life is full of hobbies, too numerous to list.

When I moved from Oklahoma to Arizona in 93 I brought an 80 mph bass boat with me, since then I've traded down to a 14 mph pontoon boat, big difference, but it sure made my wife happy!
