I guess you can see a little difference here. Makes the hassle worth it to me. But then, I'm crazy anyways!!

Well, here's the completion of my little rainy day project. Some of the upgrades I made are new lowers on all the fingers, new Truetones, and new knee levers. A complete cleanup of ALL parts and re-install. Also a few new changes underneath the hood for the copedent. It's a pleasure to take on a project like this without the pressure of a deadline, and do it on MY time table. OOOHH how this guitar plays and sounds!! (It helps to have a Pro I to play for a spare!! AH--HA!!)

Now, I want to thank John Coop for making the finest shobud replacement parts on the planet. AND yes, those are Jagwire Ricky Davis series strings, And WC Edgar seat--last of a few orders before my friend Thom Beeman bought the company from WC.

I love all things mechanical but I'm not sure I have enough love for the beauty of that undercarriage. It's a work of art.

That is just to clean looking.

Coop should have my changers and parts ready real soon.
I'll post some before and after pics of the guitar.

I have the guitar taken apart now, polishing the end plates and getting ready to finish the underside.

I can't hardly wait to have a like new Sho-Bud, I hope it plays as good as the LDG I used to have.

Thomas, John Coop painted the underbody gray when it was at his shop getting a new undercarrage---about 2 years ago now. I don't know what product he used then, sorry.

Nothin' that a case of beer won't fix right up. James, I've got my little round front at the Coopster,s as we speak. Can't hardly stand the suspense. Hope I don't get "half crazy" waiting for it to rain here and do that to my LDG. Happy Trails, Mike C.
