Chet Force: CW is still very much an integral part of Ham Radio activity. If you are a competent musician CW is a natural. It is the timing and the phrasing that determines how good a CW op you can be. Obviously, you have that quality.

I can't count how many hams I've had contacts with on HF that were using concealed antennas in restricted sub divisions, apartments etc. Modern day rigs are reasonably priced and cover all areas of ham activity.

BTW the late Alvino Rey was very a active amateur radio operator, as was Chet Atkins.
