Boots

Use old plain strings instead of boar bristles for stitching on the soles and sideseaming and other heavy sewing on hand made cowboy boots.

I am sorry for the confusion -- you twist a waxed and tapered end of flax linen cord on to half of a four inch piece of guitar string, or boar's bristle and use the guitar string as a needle to guide the cord through pre-punched holes. There is a trick to lock the cord onto the string, but the wax does a pretty good job of holding the cord onto the bristle, or guitar string.
