Thanks Donna for telling me about the fries. I had heard about the hot dogs and something about the secret recipe but NOTHING about the french fries. I see how they are. Just have to watch em! Less than a week to go. Looking forward to some good music and meeting some fine people.

David, I usually play the main show with Tommy Dodd, so I'll be there Sunday. I went to the Saturday night show before Istarted playing steel and at the time, I didn't have a steel, I just had the steel picks-haha.

Seriously, you guys (and gal), PLEASE come out and support the Shriners' Hospitals. I cannot stress enough how important their work is. We had to re-schedule this one, for a couple of reasons, but we're hoping for a good turnout. Remember, it's Memorial Day weekend, when we salute those who gave all for our freedoms---Freedoms that we all sometimes take lightly. And remember, too, that we'll be doing this show in tribute to Garland Nash.
Donna, it'll be great to see you and Tommy again. We missed y'all last time. David Fields has steel guitar fever like nobody I've ever seen! Larry Sasser, my pal Charles, Brett, hot dogs, french fries with hot grease glistening like diamonds...
So EVERYBODY'S invited! For those who can't make it, we understand. But for those who CAN make it---
AIN'T IT GONNA BE FUN?!?!?!?!?
May God bless you all.

Thanks, Wayne. That means that the moron will be playing bass Saturday night, so NO JAZZ will be allowed!
See ya Sunday!

The backup bass player must be a good one, eh?
Can I bring my acoustic Takamine as well as my semi classic?

Sorry guys, but I won't be able to make this week's show. Mom and Dad have a three day break, so we're taking a mini-vacation to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. I'll sure try to be there in August. We'll miss you.

I won't be making it this time either. I'm going to Pound, VA for the Roger Crawford show at the Heritage Festival. I hope to make it in August. Hello to everybody.
Best I remember it's Jim Hartley's anniversary weekend. Can someone make sure he takes his vitamins.
Congratulations Jim!
Need directions again

Another good show with Larry Sasser as the featured picker.
Don't what is going on in the Dodd household, Donna sat on the front row and had Tommy playing barefoot(mostly his big toe).Boy must be in the doghouse ,no shoes.
He sure did a wonderful job, beautiful tone ,song choice.
Good to Charles Reece again and looking good.
Stephen bought my Lunch ,Hotdog and drink.
Thanks Stephen.

Vernon, you are right about Tommy being in the dog house. I think he actually likes it in there!
Yes, it was great to see Charles looking so good!! Really amazing after just 3 months.
I had my usual cheese burger, french fries and lemon pound cake. Nobody does it better than the great folks who do the cooking there!
It was another great day of fantastic music and fellowship at the Saluda show! We missed seeing those who couldn't make it. But we'll see them in a few months.
Thanks again to all who make this show happen, and for the wonderful hospitality!!

Donna, Vern,
The "Charles and Stephen fan club of Saluda" had scheduled a parade for them on Sunday, but had to cancel because, one of the members was sick, the other one had to work.
