I took a long break from working in a band, more than 25 years. Wish I could find some old pictures, but they won't be on anybody's phone, lol!
With renewed interest ( "
Dan, what are you doing sitting on yer keister instead of playing the steel guitar" ), we're now back in the groove.
With my country band, Crosley Hotshot, Friday evening, June 23rd in Littleton, Colorado. Yes, this is shameless self-promotion. Now I know what I was missing!

Great pictures Malcom! I hold Martin Stephenson in high esteam. I have one record on which there is "candle in the window" played with a nice steel accompaniment. Forum member Skip Edwards told me that he played piano on one of his records.

Joachim, I have been working with Martin for quite a few years now, but not on that one, think it may have been Dave Rowlands from Liverpool, a superb player, or perhaps BJ Cole, will ask Martin.

First band “Matrix†in 1967. I’m on the right. Covers of Byrds, Moby Grape, Buffalo Springfield, the Airplane, etc. 12 string player is David Wallace (RIP) who went on to play keys for Loggins & Messina, and musical director for Manhattan Transfer.
Played psg/dobro in Christian country rock “Hallelujah†1974, 1975. I’m at top left.
Currently with “Garden Partyâ€..... just waiting for virus to cool down.
And as Mike Perlowin once said, “I can dream, can’t I?â€

Keweenaw Brewgrass 12/28/19. A 55 year age gap between the dobro and the fiddle. The talent gap is much wider.
