Cool photo. I imagine he had quite a collection of steel guitars. Wonder where they are now...?

Looks like it was actually made of steel!

Questions for the puzzle crowd:

Are y'all happy with the length of time it takes to work on these puzzles? Do they strike the right balance for you between being challenging (having enough pieces) and not taking up too much time? Would you prefer occasional (or all) puzzles to go more quickly, say, 10-minute average instead of 15-20"?

Jim, I'm fine e with the way they are, my problem is that I'm in my busy season at work and haven't been able to keep up, but will catch up as soon as I can. Thanks for continuing this!

I couldn't resist making a puzzle from this picture of Lloyd and Jay Dee on Record Store Day by forum member Charles Caskey.

I was doing the puzzle when my my daughter showed up to take me to a Giants game in San Francisco. Finished it the next morning. My time: 1099:57  for a 130-piece puzzle.

I like these computer puzzles in the 120-150 piece range. That's what works best for my screen size.

No! People like things the way they are! Now get back to work.

I thought about it as I put the New Yorker together. I agree with b0b on the size range, and the time is about right for me,
and would seem to accommodate Craig and other high functioning students; a ten-minute puzzle would be too short for both of us,
and for the mysterious rem907, who is in the Craigster's league.

The occasional bone, like the New Yorker, makes me think I'm high functioning as well. Good work all the way around, Jim.

Great photo, b0b! I look forward to working on that one.

BTW, I also see steeler, Josh Dubin, in the photo. Just had a nice, long phone call with him today. :)

Me happy! I'd still be slow even if it went down to two pieces!

Here's some keys that help...

These may be posted on their site, but I found them by accident.

"I" will toggle the image on and off. That helps if you've zoomed up.

"G" will toggle the ghost image on and off.

"A" will arrange the pieces.

"D" will disarrange the pieces.
