...that's NO THING.
Specifically, it's the absence of substance ;-)

Fits this thread perfectly....

Nothing means: no amount or naught

Jethro Bodine, while doing his cyphering, said that naught from naught equals naught. So therefore, nothing from nothing equals nothing.

What was the question again?

Nothing from Nothing leaves Nothing.

In the case of the Ventures,
'nothing ventured'
FINALLY got acclaimed,
but the Nothing (RnR) Hall Of Fame.

Your ex-wives have something over my current wife. I guess it must be the letter X.

Seems I got nothing for Christmas.

Does that beat coal in your stockings...
while you're still wearing them?

Coal in your stocking was a true Christian gift to someone undeserving. It was saying to the person "you stink, but you don't deserve to freeze or starve".

Getting NOTHING in your stocking would be the ultimate insult

Nothing is exactly what Santa brought me.
That is o.k. not getting nothing, because I didn't want nothing.

Is this a Freudian slip ? Most people don't want "nothing", but you got "nothing" whether you wanted it or not.

I myself failed to get nothing: I got something. It wasn't what I wanted. People on the Forum know the sort of things I want, my daughters seem to know what I need.

"Underalls"... "Like I'm not wearin' nothing..."

'70's commercial that really irritated english teachers....

(perhaps that was the beginning of the decline of humanity? :D )

I told people I wanted nothing for Christmas, but they all said they didn't know where to find it.
