What's on the outside of a doughnut is everything else but the doughnut.
For instance, WE are outside the doughnut. In fact we're outside of all the doughnuts that currently exist.

Jonah seemed to be able to see everything from inside the whale. I guess he must have had a flashlight.
On the other hand, the story might have been made up ...ooh, hush my mouth.

Has the amount of nothing presented here reached a point of deminishing returns?

Enough diminishing returns will get you to nothing, but I don't think we're there yet.

I open this thread often and look for NOTHING.
Every time, I find too much of it.

Gosh, it's been nearly a month since I last contributed to this thread, but you will all be relieved to know that I still have
nothing to say.

Paul you and I and 155346 others are equally amazed at the concept. It seems to me that Bob Knight, the father of this thread, is light years ahead of even the physicists who convened to try to understand nothing. He may have presented this idea in order that we could more fully understand nothing.

I can honestly say that I fully understand nothing.

Well that's better than partly understanding everything, which most people profess.
A wise man knows his own limitations.
A foolish man explains everything to others.
He's usually in politics or the church.

If you had ever seen NOTHING with your own eyes you would know, not only that it exists, but what it looks like.
I rang the door-bell of the girl next door __ when she came to the door she was wearing NOTHING.

Rick, Was she wearing a smile? If so that is something.

Presumably because it was you she was expecting.
