achmmn wouldn't that be
for nonsense and food and DRINK...?
Archie we need your haggis recipe
Entrails, suet and??? Oh yeah ,beer and ???
The Scots bar La Auld Aliance in Paris Marais section has a Haggis Quiche..
not bad, sort of a haggis omlette pie.
Beer is good for cooking and for drinking.
I always use a nice red or dark beer for sourkraut with sausage.
Farris, some of these things are not that expensive here.
Rabbit is cheaper than chicken.
I cooked like this BEFORE I came over here,
I just do it better after nearly 10 years in foodland.
Once you have a good collection of herbs an spices dried, it lasts a long time. And modern large american markets often have a huge variety of things... you just gotta look a bit.
How many chicken dinners you have in your life done the same way each time?
I like it different each time, and variations on any repeats. Life's too short for reduncancy!

well i have been divorced now for about 16 years and never remarried. so it is up to me to cook. thanks giving my brother and his wife was here and i did a bone ham for dinner. we had corn, beans with onion and bacon, dressing mashed taters n gravey and some good biskets. after dinner we put some sargum on the plate and cleaned everything up with biskets. mid june we have a family reunion and it is always requested that i do some pull bbq, chilli and ribs. i usually put some chicken and pork on the grill to so everyone has a good variety of meat. i would say my best is chilli and spegetti. anyone want a great chilli hollor at me. thanks doc
