US Navy 1961-1964. San Diego, 1 year hospital corps school, 2 years in Hawaii at Kaneoho Bay Marine Corps station, 1 year aboard USS Princeton, Naval Helicopter Carrier, off Viet Nam. Quite an experience (But, I would not want to do it again!! Image)

USAF '65 to '70. Lackland, Chanute to Travis AFB. 604 OMS. Assigned to ground support of commercial jets carrying troops across the pacific.
Cushy job.

My deepest gratitude and best wishes to the brave soldiers who served our country on the battlefield. And to those that didn't survive, I trust their families all know what heroes they are.

May this Veteran's Day be a reminder of the price of freedom.

10 years in the Navy - Lt(jg) to Cdr,including a year as surgeon for the 6th
(Mediterranean) Fleet and 1950-51 service with the Marines in Korea. Member of the Chosin
Few. Our hospital in Hagaru-ri had several doctors but I was the only surgeon, while we were surrounded and outnumbered by Chinese (about 10 to 1).
