I'm 55 and started last December. I had a steel for a short while in the 80's but then had to sell it. I'm a newbie for sure!!!

I started playing pedal two years ago at the age of 58. (I guess that means I'm 60 now, but I can't do the arithmetic as well as I used to !)

I've been playing non-pedal since I was 16.

I started back in Febuary of this year. I got a used Carter starter and about 3 months later sold it and got a black GFI SD-10 and a sessions 400 limited. I am 42 years old and have played guitar and bass for over 22 years .I wish I would have done this about 14 years ago. I have taken one good wood shead lesson from Russ Weaver and have progressed to the point of play out setting in with a garage type band and having a couple jam sessions in my own garage.

This instrament is addictive and very flustraighting at the same time but when I was 5 years old I used to listen to Loydd Green on Charlie Pride records and just to be able to make a sound that some what resembles what was on the old record's brings tears to my eyes! thats why I wont give up! Pat

I set a
