I'm 55 and started last December. I had a steel for a short while in the 80's but then had to sell it. I'm a newbie for sure!!!

I started playing pedal two years ago at the age of 58. (I guess that means I'm 60 now, but I can't do the arithmetic as well as I used to !)

I've been playing non-pedal since I was 16.

I started back in Febuary of this year. I got a used Carter starter and about 3 months later sold it and got a black GFI SD-10 and a sessions 400 limited. I am 42 years old and have played guitar and bass for over 22 years .I wish I would have done this about 14 years ago.
